At Nora’s house
"At Nora’s house" is an intimate journey into an existential condition that echoes the atmosphere described by Henrik Ibsen in "A Doll's house", whose main character - Nora - lives suspended in a double dimension, where her profound freedom and sensitiveness are hidden under the veneer of the dominant social rules.
Nora is portrayed through high key shots in her own intimate grace, which remains softly suggested and not clearly stated, light and delicate, barely perceivable from external gazes, as to seize her less corporeal and more authentic essence.
Behind this ethereal and evanescent aura are her moments of confusion and turmoil, enclosed by the awareness of the role expectations she is subject to.
The mask lies on the bed, separating intimate Nora from her public life.
